Cancun marriage proposal > Pretty often you see one of those “amazing marriage proposal” articles on the news, or “10 best marriage proposals ever” and you can’t resist to take a look at them. Some of them are really impressive and you get fascinated by them.

Well… we met Danilo back in June, and we ended up being part of one of those amazing marriage proposals.

The planning

Everything started couple of days before, planning how, when and where everything will take place. Maps, draws, directions, ideas, everything was on the table. Hidden cameras, paparazzi photographer hidden in roofs, maps and secret phone calls were part of the experience.

Finally, the wedding proposal day arrived. Despite that we were super excited about it, we have to confess that we got a little nervous. Adrenaline was inevitable. A small mistake and the idea of being discovered ahead of time, makes you tremble with nerves.

The wedding proposal

The helicopter ride over Cancun was the first thing to photograph. Despite that there are not many places where you can hide at an heliport, we figure it out and make it work photographing everything like paparazzis from arrival until helicopter’s takeoff.

Secondly; The Ritz-Carlton Cancun. Beach walk followed with a romantic dinner at Casitas restaurante on the beach during sunset time.

Besides this, we managed to photograph the walk on the beach without being seen, (yes, hiding in the bushes). Finally; hey arrived to the proposal set up made with lanterns on the sand, where Danilo went on he’s knees, and the rest is story. Of course she said yes, and from then on everything was joy and celebration.

Not only we took photos after the proposal, but also during night time. Afterward we had a lot of fun doing some experimental shots and playing with lights.
