Amazing Persian wedding in Mayakoba Mexico ϟ Nila + Spencer

It’s not our first time shooting a Persian wedding in Mayakoba, but every time we photograph one, we can’t help but be amazed.

The beautifully crafted altars adorned with sweets, candles, pictures, and flowers were just a part of the mesmerizing tapestry that wove together the rich traditions and heartfelt moments of this unforgettable Persian wedding in Mayakoba.

Nila and Spencer crossed paths with us during their site visit at Banyan Tree Mayakoba all planned by Xanath Bañuelos, and as soon as they walked in, we were taken aback by their sheer handsomeness. Were they real people? Indeed, they were, and to top it off, they were incredibly cool and laid back.

During our discussions, we went through their wedding schedule, wedding photo ideas, and explored various corners of the hotel, planning a little bit of everything.

Finally, the big day arrived in December, right in the heart of wedding season – a time we absolutely love. While shooting weddings every weekend can be a bit challenging, this season is simply magical, drawing people away from the cold weather to celebrate in the warmth of the Caribbean, where flip flops and swimsuits reign.

Tje getting ready was at one of their awesome beachfront villas at Banyan Tree Mayakoba! With her squad of awesome bridesmaids, the bride had a blast getting pampered and glammed up. Stylists worked their magic, turning her into an absolute stunner!

It was the start of an epic journey, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting than Banyan Tree Mayakoba!

The excitement and emotions were real, and as the clock ticked, we all knew it was time for their first look.

Persian Ceremony at the Lobby Terrace

Imagine a gorgeous display adorned with delicious pastries, fresh fruits, and fragrant herbs, each element representing blessings for the couple’s future life together.

As the ceremony unfolds, you’ll witness a delightful mix of joyful customs and rituals. The bride and groom exchange heartfelt vows, pledging their love and commitment to one another.

It’s a celebration that blends centuries-old traditions with a modern-day romance, where love and family intertwine in a tapestry of cherished moments. The vibrant colors, the tender exchanges, and the heartfelt gestures make this Persian wedding an unforgettable experience.

The reception’s grand entrance was made by boat at the MK Blue, and it turned out to be an incredible Persian wedding party, complete with the traditional Persian knife dance, the always-popular cake cutting, and lots of dancing.

Being part of such a unique wedding was an absolute joy, and we cherished every moment, from the beach welcome party to the final dance on Saturday night.
